The MTY Group is looking for a Coordinator to join its Store Development, Franchising and Real Estate team.
The Development Coordinator, who is an integral part of the success of the MTY Group, is essentially responsible for all administrative aspects of the business conducted by the Store Development, Franchising and Real Estate team. He/she is responsible for managing and processing various aspects of engagements in a wide range of specialties. The Development Coordinator supports the team in the day-to-day management of individual business development engagements by managing information flow to/from prospective franchisees/ candidates and landlords, and by establishing and administrating basic workflow system. The Development Coordinator directly report to the Vice-President of Development.
Arrange and participate in timely team meetings;
Perform all duties, as required by members of the Development team, to assist in the effective operations and the general administration;
To act as the primary customer service first contact for franchisee candidates’ inquiries providing responsive support and excellent customer service including, but not limited to: Perform the first screening of candidates, and the initial telephone interview with franchising;
Ensure prompt follow up on Franchising and Real estate leads, ensuring that the franchisees/candidates/ Landlords are kept up-to-date on status;
Acts as a liaison between the Development team members and franchisees/candidates/ Landlords, arrange interviews and foster positive relations to create trust and confidence;
Be aware of each file’s status at all times;
Close projects in a timely manner – ensuring all required documents are properly completed, all files and the database are up to date, coded and filed;
Assist on Market research (demographic, competition and business potential); Offer creative ideas to further streamline business development and/or administrative practices;
Assist in managing diverse marketing and advertising tools as: occasionally organise and attend in Franchise Shows, ICSC Conferences (may require some travelling from time to time), Mass emailing campaign, web base media (website, social media, etc.) and print media;
Handle general inquiries appropriately;
Strong organizational and project management abilities;
A strong team player who is self-motivated and pro-active, with an ability to anticipate needs of the team members and act accordingly;
Able to handle pressure and make confident decisions, work constructively under stressful situations and a creative problem-solver;
Fluently bilingual (spoken and written);
Good grammar, spelling and vocabulary skills;
Strong PC skills including : Excel; Word, Power-Point, Outlook. Online tools such as MailChimp, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
Self-confident and comfortable in interacting with senior executives of high profile organizations (in person and via the telephone);
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Tenacious and results-driven;
