Web Marketing Specialist - Bâton Rouge (Contractual)

The Web Marketing Specialistwill define and develop the strategic web direction of the brand in order to create and implement marketing strategies and programs. The Web Marketing Specialist will be responsible for all web marketing projects within the brand to increase revenue, market shares and customer loyalty.


  • Social Media: Content creation, planning and coordination with the brands, graphic briefing, analysis and performance review of the national social network accounts
  • Advise and recommend strategic electronic content to franchisees
  • Community management
  • Maintenance and update of the websites through the CMS
  • Continuous improvement of the websites in collaboration with external resources
  • Web monitoring and management of the review sites
  • Implementation and optimization of marketing campaigns on electronic medias
  • Implementation of the best practices of electronic marketing
  • Creation, programming and management of the news letters
  • Data base management
  • Maintenance and update of the on-line ordering tools
  • Maintenance and update of the intranet and extranet
  • Any other task that may be related to electronic medias and web marketing


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or Marketing
  • Three to five years related experience in a web marketing position, at least 2 years in management
  • Strong knowledge in digital and online media including websites, social media applications, email marketing, and online advertising (PPC, Google AdWords)
  • Experience implementing B2C marketing strategies for small businesses
  • Deep understanding of how to effectively segment, nurture and grow a database of leads and customers
  • Solid understanding of SEO, web analytics and reporting
  • Excellent technical writing skills on Information Technology and Software, in particular Email as a platform
  • Experience with creating and managing websites content, prototyping, creation, and design
  • Experience with the design and development of online promotional material and acute vision for design layouts
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing outside vendors including creative agencies, website developers, press, printers, etc.
  • Recognized team player with strong leadership skills and comfortable working in a cross-function team environment
  • An ‘agile’ marketer who gets things done and can quickly measure the effectiveness of marketing initiative with online tools and adjust it effectively
  • Demonstrated analytical and concise thinking
  • Proven history of taking ownership in projects and success
  • Ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects and events
  • Ability to conduct in-depth research and produce reports
  • Autonomous and professional
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster cross-functional teamwork
  • “Tech savvy”, at ease working with technical resources
  • Strong knowledge of social media sites and impact
  • Bilingualism (French and English
